Scope
This Privacy Policy describes information handled through the PayClear public-facing website, including its commercial inquiry and limited consumer request forms. Separate notices may apply to account-level collection communications or other Clear Recovery Solutions services that are not part of this website.
Information you provide
The commercial inquiry form may ask for your name, work email, legal business name, employee-size band, role or authority, receivables category, approximate total portfolio-balance band, and one selected organization-level workflow topic from a fixed list. The business form does not provide a free-text narrative or document-upload field.
The consumer request form asks for a name, email address, and a selected request type. It does not provide fields for account numbers, payment details, documents, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, telephone numbers, or a free-text account narrative. Do not submit those details through the site.
Technical and anti-spam information
To operate and protect the forms, the server processes technical request information, including an IP address and form-completion time. The application uses hashed IP-address and email identifiers in temporary, in-memory rate-limit controls and a hidden honeypot field to help identify automated submissions. These controls reduce abuse but cannot guarantee that every sensitive string will be detected.
How information is used
We use information submitted through the public forms to:
- Review and respond to a commercial portfolio inquiry or a limited account request.
- Route a commercial inquiry or consumer request to the appropriate internal review path.
- Protect the site, limit spam and misuse, and maintain the operation of the forms.
- Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights where necessary.
How information may be shared
Information may be available to authorized Clear Recovery Solutions personnel who review the relevant request. The site is designed to route business inquiries to the commercial review mailbox and dispute requests to the controlled support mailbox. A request is not confirmed as received unless the site displays a success message.
We may use service providers that support website hosting, communications, security, or operations. We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets. The PayClear public forms are not a payment service.
The public forms do not collect mobile opt-in information. Where a separate service offers text or voice communications, its own consent and opt-out disclosures apply. We do not share mobile opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Retention
The current website application does not save inquiry contents to its own application database. If a request is successfully delivered by email, the message may be retained in the receiving mailbox under its separate access and retention settings. Hosting, network, or service-provider logs may also be subject to their own retention schedules. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, legal obligations, and dispute resolution.
Security
The public forms limit the information requested and use validation and anti-spam controls. We use safeguards designed to protect information, but no website, email system, or method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. The public forms are not a secure channel for account-level records or payment information.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website or its hosting platform may use cookies or similar technical mechanisms needed for basic operation, security, or a specific feature. You can manage cookie storage through your browser settings; disabling it may affect some site functions. This policy does not promise that a particular analytics or cookie-consent service is active.
Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or opt out of certain processing. We will review and respond to requests as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. No separate data-request portal is available through this website.
If you believe a data incident requires notice, we will provide notices required by applicable law. For privacy requests, write to the mailing address listed in Contact. Do not include account numbers or sensitive account information in a public form.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our website or practices change. The effective date shown above is the date supplied for this policy. We will provide any notice of a significant change that applicable law requires.
